The note is a rectangle surrounded by a decorative border of black triangles. At the top of the bill underlined is written: “Stadtrat Osterhofen”. Beneath this is written: “Gutschein Über Pfennig”. On Either side of this in large font is: “25”. There is a stamp on the right center of the note a government seal. Surrounding the seal is written: “MAGISTRAT DER K.B STADT OSTERHOFEN”. Beneath this in the center of the bill is: “Osterhofen, den 27. Januar 1917”. At the bottom left of the note is written: “06858”. On the bottom left side is a signature that appears to read as: “Ernst Pichler”.
