The note consists of a pale-yellow rectangle surrounded by a decorative black border and a white edge. At the top of the note is written: “Kreigs-notgeld 10 Zehn Pfennig 10”. Beneath in small text is written: “Zahlen wir dem einlieferer dieses scheiner ohne legitimations-Prüfung.” On either side of this text are the letters: “Pf.” Below this is written: “Ostheim V. D. Rbön, den 1. November 1918.” Below that, in slightly larger font is: “Eingetragene Genossenschaft mit unbeschränfter haftpflicht.” Beneath that text is three signatures.
