Dudley Leavitt (1772-1851) was a New Hampshire educator, newspaper editor, and polymath, who was the publisher of the Leavitt's Farmers Almanack -- one of America's earliest almanacs. Levitt's papers reside in the NH State Library. The documents represented in KSCommons were selected for use in the NH Citizen Archivists' Initiative.
Gives more than a passing view of the guidance process in a school and the involvement of many individuals in the effort to estimate the potential of each individual student in the school, to interpret to him and his parents the opportunities available to him, and to assist in providing him with educational experiences which will assure his best development.
