Florence, honey:
I hope that this finds you and Jimmy rapidly overcoming the first shock of this new set up just as I am. But as you well know everything is temporary, we are constantly in a state of change; so keep the chin up, the courage high, and I hope we will soon be together again. As yet nothing has happened to give me any inkling as to my future disposition, but I remain hopeful and hoping.
The day has been a long busy one, but not strenuous. Friday we see the classification officer and maybe soon I will know more – under separate cover I have forwarded my clothes, and wish you would send me Addie’s writing kit and apron. As yet I need nothing else but will let you know when I do.
Please take good care of yourself and the little feller – also advise my folks that all is well –
Love and kisses,
As ever,
Gg.
