Saturday
Dearest Sweetheart,
After quite a storm last night, the morning came in quite sunny and warm again. Jim and I are very well, still love you dearly and miss you always.

Since Wednesday all is serene and Eleanor, Mom and I are very cooperative and anxious to get this place in order for the summer. So far so good. Even Jim is helping in his own cute way. After lunch today, we drove a short ways to get some fresh eggs and chicken, (which are both hard to get at present) from a farm near Port Jervis. Eleanor made the 4 o'clock bus to N.Y. and will be back tomorrow with Rich and Harry. They're going to Albany on a big job and order which they [are] made.

Jimmie looks fine, talks more and more and ages me at every turn. My mom bought him a sturdy wheel-barrow in town and he does so much with it except sleeping with it. We're doing fine and do hope some of your mail arrives soon. I wrote to the folks and hope they'll visit us soon. Just don't worry about us and very soon we'll all be together again. All my love and devotion to you and hugs and kisses from Jimmy.
Always,
Florence
