Description
Somewhere in No. Ireland

Dearest Bev -
“Happy Anniversary.” Yes, four years and one
month to-day. Hope that we’ll soon be able to spend
our anniversaries to-gether. Last night I was CQ.
in Hq. I made a sleeping bag and used one of
the desks as a bed. Must admit that I’ve slept
on much softer spots. I couldn’t turn too much
for fear of falling off, but I managed to get a
good nights’ sleep anyway. Our Christmas mail
had to go out to-day so I took care of it last
night. I’m getting a bit weary of writing the
return address, rather I should say, printing.
Going out on pass again tonight. I may
stop at A.R.C. to-morrow and borrow one of
their bikes. I think that’s the best way
of getting to see the sights. If it’s nice and
the other boys are agreeable we may play
a round of golf.
Did you have the ring engraved as yet?
Please be sure to take care of it. Did you
send my watch? Say hello to Mother +
Dad for me, also Buddy.
love + kisses
