Hello Dearest,
This is my second attempt at this letter. The first
was sent back by the censor.
Our schedule here has kept me busy so I haven’t
had much spare time. So far I haven’t been sea-
sick but I’ve been on the verge of it a few times.
They say that if you eat enough it doesn’t effect
you.
Well Bevvy, how are you? I’ve been thinking of
you. I have plenty of time for it while on duty.
Dreamt about being with you. What a disappointment
to awake and find it was only a dream.
Yesterday we were each given 2 cartons of cigarettes.
The day before a bag of candy.
By the way hon, if you want to knit something
(hint) you can make a scarf. It’s quite cool
now and I could use one.
Did you get a job yet? Any changes at home?
Let me know if I write large enough for these
letters.
