Item
- Description
- David F. Putnam Science Center, Room 154
- In this panel presentation, tutors at the Center for Writing will share how they applied and conducted research on writing center trends to reexamine current practices. The tutors focused on reorganizing the Center's physical environment and in-house resources to promote a productive learning space. Presenters will illustrate how they used a wider range of elements, such as social media platforms and marketing strategies, to increase interest in the Center for Writing. Additionally, presenters will share how these new initiatives help them to consider what the Center is and is not doing, what current practices are vital to the Center's mission, and what possible futures the tutors can envision for the Center.
