- This study sought to determine if agriculture education is included in elementary school curriculum in Cheshire County, New Hampshire. Insights will contribute to defining the state of agricultural education in NH and assist in creating new goals for implementation. To gather the necessary data, a combination of statistics, interviews, and focus group was used to determine the results. Using a mixed methodology allowed for a multifaceted study that investigated current implementation, teachers' perspectives, and lesson planning for agricultural education. Conclusions informed New Hampshire Agriculture in the Classroom of ways to successfully infuse agriculture education into elementary curriculum throughout the state.Key Words: Agricultural Literacy, Community Based Learning, Undergraduate Research
