Friday eve—

My darling,
Your cheerful letter of May 31st arrived this morn and left me in good spirits all day. Also had a letter from Bob and if his luck holds out he’ll be in the states for a few more months. Those recent snaps of you and your buddies are going to make an interesting album and I must say Jon looks quite young and healthy. Jim and I feel that way too but Jim must have some dynamite in his little body.

We’ll be leaving next Wednesday. I’m almost sure this time—the delay is due to many things. Our mattresses came this afternoon and they’re swell. After our naps today, Jim and I went to the movies and I just had to see “Roughly Speaking”, a very good feature. Jim behaved fine considering he had to sit in 6 different seats. Met Aurora while coming home and she spent a few hours with us. We still miss you and love you so very much. Stay well, dearest.
As always, Florence
