Description: The envelope that this letter was sent in has "Air-mail" and "J-2" written on the front and a playful smiley face drawn on the back. The letter is written on paper with the American Red Cross logo at the top. George thanks his wife in this letter for everything that she is doing back in Brooklyn, for how well she is raising their son, Jimmy, for how she keeps in touch and is a support for their family and friends, and for saving collectible items and memorabilia to sell later in life. He mostly speaks of wanting men over the age of 35 who were drafted in the army to be released, and thanks her for consistently writing letters about their concerns and wishes.
