Description

Rosemary Gianno is currently an Associate Professor of Anthropolgy at Keene State College and chair of the department. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from City University of New York, Queens College and a Masters of Philosophy and a Ph. D at Yale University in 1985. Professor Gianno has spent a total of over three years in Malaysia on several different trips and did her original fieldwork in Tasek Bera, Malaysia amoung the Semelai studying their adaption of the forest envirnoment. Along with Adela Baer she has been instrumental in helping to found the Orang Asli Archive at Keene State College and has been activley involved in its growth.
