This internship is to include participation in two levels of schooling: elementary, middle, or high school. PROPOSED COURSE NUMBER and/or TITLE: Abbreviated Course Title, if necessary: EDUCEL 697 INTERNSHIP II: Connections (3 credits) PROPOSED COURSE DESCRIPTION: A supervised practical experience in educational leadership with seminar sessions addressing national and state standards for educational leaders. The focus of this Internship will be integrating leadership, curriculum, school improvement and data'driven decision making. Prerequisites: Admission to Educational Leadership Option or permission of instructor. Spring. LEARNING OUTCOMES: As a result of this course, students will: 1. Understand how to promote the success of all students by facilitating the development, articulation, implementation and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by the school community. RATIONALE: This Internship is the culminating experience for our prospective school leaders.
