Through written and oral assignments and lab experiences, students will investigate the nature of science and explore evolutionary patterns and mechanisms, the history and diversity of life, evidence for evolutionary change and relationships, and educational and legal issues surrounding evolutionary biology. There is no need for a separate course number and description for the class. It can now be part of the IS program. This course was proposed while the bio dept. was undergoing its 4 credit and ISP changes. While the course description implies that the course was for education majors, it could have been taken by any student. In reality, it has never been offered. Any INBIO topics course may be taken by education students or any other non-bio majors. There is no reason for a specific advisory opinion from Education. RESOURCES: No additional resources required.
