Course Addition Number Change Title Change Credit Change Description Change Prerequisite Change Course Deletion Course Replacement EXISTING (OLD) DATA: INPHYS 100 Inquiry Into Physics Introduction to physics using a hands-on inquiry approach in which the student becomes the scientist with the goal of understanding the basic concepts of physics. Topics include mechanics, energy, sound, light, heat, electricity, and modern physics. Emphasizes development of a scientific world view and includes quantitative reasoning . Fall, Spring. PROPOSED (NEW) COURSE TITLE: N/A PROPOSED (NEW) COURSE: N/A RATIONALE: The topical material and the format is essentially the same as presented in Physics 201 Phenomenal Science. Physics 201 is also being converted to INPHYS 201 (see additional proposal). Rather than continue this duplication we will merely offer two sections of INPHYS 201 in the future.
